Vince Gilligan’s Beanstalk sets roots at Disney

Disney has set it’s sights on yet another classic children’s story to remake and this time they’ve chosen “Jack and the Beanstalk”.

The studio has nabbed the rights to a revisionist take on the story conceived by Vince Gilligan (“Breaking Bad”), titled “Beanstalk”.

Thomas Schnauz is currently writing the script.

Gilligan and Mark Johnson will produce with Gilligan also eyeing the project as a potential directing vehicle.

Seems it’s time to start putting bets on the next fairy tale that will get a live action remake, because this is just non-stop.
