Says “Motley Crue” legend, Tommy Lee
The rumours – which started third hand, so this is saying something – about Christopher Walken playing Ozzy Osbourne in the upcoming Motley Crue biopic “The Dirt” are true…. Or so it seems.
Ex-Crue member (now ringleader of the lacklustre ‘Supernova’ outfit) Tommy Lee told Melbourne’s The Herald Sun that Director Larry Charles (“Borat”) has indeed signed the tap-dancing maniac to play wild Ozzy in the movie.
I’m intrigued. Chris Walken as Ozzy Osbourne? Now that’s kinda cool. It’ll be more amusing than anything, but I think I like it. Granted, you probably could’ve gotten an actor that looked a little more (and probably sounds a little more) like the bat-eating musician… but this’ll do fine.
Lee told the paper that the film is still in the early stages.
