Was Lost, but now Taken

Maggie Grace snags female lead in Pierre Morel actioner

Seems “The Fog” didn’t hurt her as much as it hurt us.

Maggie Grace, formerly of the hit series “Lost” and more recently, up front in the remake of the John Carpenter classic “The Fog” (which, by the way, was far from a classic), has landed the female lead role in “Taken”, a new film starring Liam Neeson.

Pierre Morel will direct from a screenplay by Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, spunky Grace is set to play the estranged daughter of Neeson’s character who is kidnapped and forced into the slave trade. Neeson’s character is a former spy who uses his skills to rescue her.

Shooting begins this month in Paris on the film, produced by action-wiz Luc Besson.
