Details on a new human character that’ll appear on the new “Star Wars : Rebels” cartoon series have been revealed.
A new video on USA Today has revealed Kanan, a ‘cowboy’ Jedi, voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.
Former teen hearthrob Prinze Jr (“She’s All That”, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”) said he’s a huge “Star Wars” fan. “For people who are around our age and a bit older, Star Wars is in our DNA. I’ve heard ‘May the Force be with you’ about as many times as ‘Hey, how you doing?’ ”
The new series, which is set 14 years after the events of “Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith”, debuts with a one-hour special on Disney Channel in the fall before moving to half-hour episodes on Disney XD.
