Will Ferrell and Liam Neeson join the stellar voice cast of the new Lego film

Some big names have been added to the cast of Roadshow’s new “Lego” feature film.

Deadline says Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie have all joined the ranks in the toyworld.

They join Eizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman – this is sounding like quite the ensemble!

But my favourite part is the plot outline – here’s what Deadline’s got:

“The plot Emmet (Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant. Ferrell will play Emmet’s primary adversary, President Business; Neeson is the president’s powerful henchman, Bad Cop; Offerman is a craggy, swaggering pirate obsessed with revenge on President Business; and Brie is a member of Emmet’s team with a powerful secret.”

It actually sounds remarkable epic – with a February 2014 release scheduled in 3D. I know I’ll be watching!
