Williams joins Creed, Ghostbusters

Michael K.Williams (“The Wire”) has joined the cast of two large-ish films, “Assassins Creed” and “Ghostbusters”.

“Assassins Creed”, hailing from 20th Century Fox, is based on the popular video game series of the same name. Williams’ role is said to be one that would likely carry over into subsequent films.

In addition, Williams, as well as Andy Garcia and Matt Walsh, have joined the cast of Paul Feig’s “Ghostbusters” reboot. Thesp plays a character named Hawkins in the movie (Garcia, meanwhile, plays – rather fittingly – the Mayor of New York). The film is now shooting in New York.
