On the super-fun virtual “Melrose Place” reunion that the guys at Stars in the House hosted this week, the cast of the original ’90s soap mentioned an idea of a reunion that had been jokingly discussed – but tossed to the curb.
According to Andrew Shue, who played Billy Campbell on the show, the idea of a “Melrose Place” murder-mystery movie was once proposed.
“We joked that we should do a horror film, where we all have a reunion and we all come back for a funeral. The Big Chill meets the Devil.”
Some cast, including Heather Locklear, said they’d still be up for some sort of revival down the track – if anyone was willing to try again.
