Alexandre Aja and Sam Raimi are teaming up for the horror-thriller “Crawl”, says Heat Vision.
Raimi and Craig Flores produce the long-gestating spookfest – which was previously set up with Lakeshore and Annapura – for Paramount. The film, now on the fast track, centers around a young woman who becomes trapped in a flooding house during a Category 5 hurricane and must battle against Florida’s most savage and feared predators.
“Piranha 3D” helmer Aja wrote the script with Shawn and Michael Rasmussen.
