The first images from director Warren Beatty’s first film in 18 years have surfaced.
Titled “Rules Don’t Apply”, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich and Lily Collins along with Beatty as reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes.
“I never lost my curiosity about him,” Beatty told EW of his decades-long attempt to make a film about Hughes. “It’s just that I don’t run around doing movies all the time.”
“This ain’t a biopic about Howard Hughes,” he clarified:
The film stars Lily Collins (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) as a religiously devout actress and Alden Ehrenreich (the new Han Solo) as her equally conservative driver, both of whom work for Beatty’s Hughes, who forbids entanglements between the employees. – via EW.
Co-stars include Haley Bennett, Alec Baldwin, Matthew Broderick, Candice Bergen, Steve Coogan, Martin Sheen, Ed Harris, Oliver Platt and Annette Bening.
20th Century Fox will release “Rules Don’t Apply” on November 11.
