“X-Men” alum Halle Berry is looking to Fox to give her another [much needed] hit.

The Oscar Winning actress is in talks to play a C.I.A chief in Matthew Vaughn’s highly-anticipated sequel to “The Kingman”, Deadline reports.

Berry would essentially fill the ‘star’ box left vacant by Colin Firth, who [likely] won’t be back for the follow-up. Taron Egerton will reprise his role as the young secret agent who, in the original, was charged with the task of taking down Samuel L.Jackson’s rogue.

The original movie, which also starred Mark Strong and Michael Caine, grossed a sumly $415m worldwide.

Recent reports that Julianne Moore pegged to play the villain in the film. The studio hasn’t confirmed that one.

Berry’s last “X-Men” appearance was in 2014’s “X-Men : Days of Future Past”.

“Kingsman 2” is due for release on June 16, 2017.
