American Crime Story : The People v. Monica Lewinsky

A future season of the award-winning “American Crime Story” will fix on the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

According to Variety, producers Fox 21 and FX productions have optioned Jeffrey Tobin’s book “A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President” to use as the basis for a future instalment of the FX drama.

The series will assumingly soon court actors to play Lewinsky, Paula Jones, Kenneth Starr and possibly, Bill Clinton.

The first season of the series, “The People v. O.J. Simpson,” was based on Toobin’s “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson” and snared a record 10 Emmy wins.

The next two instalments of “American Crime Story” will concentrate on Hurricane Katrina and the 1997 murder of Gianni Versace, respectively.
