Andy Serkis on whether Snoke returns for Episode IX

The actor, whose directorial debut “Mowgli” recently premiered on Netflix, seems to know that answer – and he’s not happy about it.

Despite fecund conjecture that the character survived – but seriously, how!? – his grisly fate in “The Last Jedi”, it sure as Bantha poodoo doesn’t look like ‘Star Wars’ villain Snoke returns for “Episode IX”.

Appearing on Entertainment Weekly’s Couch Surfing to discuss his many legendary roles, actor Andy Serkis – who played the character via mo-cap, and as magnificent as always- spoke about his disappointment in how the character abruptly exited the saga.

“So cruelly disposed of so early on in his career Supreme Leader Snoke, I’ve got to say, I mean come on.”

When it was suggested that his death left many unanswered questions, he added: ‘I know, tell me about it!’

The actor, best known for his work as ‘Gollum’ in the “Lord of the Rings” and “Hobbit” trilogies, seemingly lies in hope that Snoke might make an appearance in the final installment of the upcoming Skywalker sequel trilogy.

“It’s a Star Wars movie anything can happen. I’m saying this with the hope that someone is listening out there”.

“Star Wars Episode IX” has been filming for quite some time, under the direction of JJ Abrams, and so if Serkis hasn’t gotten the heads-up at this point that Snoke is in the film… it’s likely not happening.

‘’Star Wars: Episode IX’’ is released December 20, 2019.

Jake Gyllenhaal actually playing a “good guy” in Spider-Man sequel!
