“Maleficent” star Angelina Jolie is in talks for the feature adaptation of Marvel’s “The Eternals”.
Based on the Jack Kirby classic, the Chloe Zhao-directed feature fixes on a near-immortal beings the Eternals and their more gargantuan antagonists the Deviants, who were created by the cosmic beings called Celestials.
No word which character in Matthew and Ryan Firpo’s screenplay Jolie is eyed for.
The project is set up with Marvel Studios/Disney.
