Anne Hathaway could be going to Sesame Street

The timeless kids’ show “Sesame Street” is being made into a feature film, and word is that Anne Hathaway is being eyed for a starring role.

Warner Bros. is behind the film, with “Stranger Things” filmmaker Shawn Levy to produce. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is going to be a musical.

Of course at this stage nothing is confirmed, so it’s unclear if Hathaway will accept the role, to appear alongside favourites such as Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster. Watch this space!
