Antony Starr joins Lizzy Caplan in Lionsgate thriller Cobweb

He’s a fan fave on “The Boys”, and a fave here at Moviehole HQ too – anyone else remember how great he was in the NZ show “Outrageous Fortune” or is it just me?

Now Antony Starr’s star is getting bigger, with the actor nabbing a role in “Cobweb”, a thriller from Lionsgate. He has been cast alongside Lizzy Caplan, Cleopatra Coleman and child actor Woody Norman.

Directed by Samuel Bodin, “Cobweb” is set in a small town and takes place in a seemingly ordinary house where a timid young boy (Norman) hears a mysterious tapping from inside the walls, and begins to suspect that his parents are hiding a terrible secret. Caplan and Starr will play the boy’s parents, while Coleman will play the boy’s substitute teacher, which begs the question — what happened to his first teacher?

Production is set to start later this month in Sofia, Bulgaria.
