Arclight launches Tell starring Ventimiglia, Sackhoff & Lee

Arclight Films announces the world market launch of the edgy crime-thriller “Tell” in Berlin this February.

The film stars Milo Ventimiglia, Katee Sackhoff, Jason Lee, Alan Tudyk, Robert Patrick, John Michael Higgins and Oscar Nuñez.

J. M. R. Luna directs.

“We are eager to introduce TELL to buyers for the very first time in Berlin, a uniquely-original and smart crime-thriller that interweaves subtle yet striking humor throughout its adrenaline-charged ride.” said Clay Epstein, SVP Sales and Acquisitions for Arclight Films. “The result is a commercially viable film that will appeal to audiences around the globe.”

“Tell”‘s story unfolds as small-time criminal, Ethan Tell (Ventimiglia), makes it big when he pulls off an intricate $1 million heist. Tell soon learns that his problems are only beginning as his ex-wife Beverly (Sackhoff), a partner he betrayed, his parole officer and two corrupt detectives try to take the money for themselves. Tell must carefully maneuver through his feelings for Beverly and the incessant threats from opportunistic foes to recover the cash and disappear.

“Arclight Films understands the world market and has successes in getting great films to audiences,” said producer and lead actor Milo Ventimiglia. “We’re excited to be working with them.”

“Arclight’s passion for TELL has been evident since day one,” continued producer Kevin Mann, “and we look forward to working with Clay Epstein and his team to sell the film throughout the world.”

TELL is produced by Kevin Mann, Matt Perniciaro and Christopher Boyd of Haven Entertainment (A Band Called Death, Milius, EDC: Under the Electric Sky, Grass Stains) and Milo Ventimiglia and Russ Cundiff of DiVide Pictures (Static). Mauricio Betancur, Rick Matros and George Voskericyan are executive producers.

The film is currently in post-production and is slated for a summer 2014 release.

Arclight Films is handling international sales and will be presenting never before seen footage of TELL to buyers for the first time at EFM during the 64th Annual Berlinale.
