’90s thriller “Arlington Road”, starring Jeff Bridges and Tim Robbins, is getting the small-screen treatment.
The tight, effective paranoid chiller, expertly directed by music video vet Mark Pellington, tells the story of a widowed George Washington University professor who suspects his new neighbors are involved in terrorism and becomes obsessed with foiling their plot. Joan Cusack and Hope Davis also starred.
Pellington is shepherding a new TV series based on the 1999 feature, directing and executive producing alongside Seth Fisher (“The Alienist”). CBS Studios and Village Roadshow Television are co-producing.
