Arrow actress to front new Urban Legend

“Arrow” actress Katherine McNamara is just one of the theps lending their names to the credit block of Screen Gems’ new “Urban Legend” reboot.

Like fellow ’90s slasher brands “Scream” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, the popular teen slasher is getting a new lease on life with a tardy new instalment set to hit theaters over the next couple of years.

Sydney Chandler (“SKAM Austin”) is also in talks to join the cast of the film, while Keith Powers (“Straight Outta Compton”) which is being eyed for a role. The flick, being produced by seasoned pros Mike Medavoy and Benjamin Anderson,will update the concept to include the internet – where urban legends run rampant –  and deepfake technology.
