Arrowverse renewals; deaths ahead in crossover!?

Ahead of the winter press tour, The CW have re-issued “Arrow”, “Black Lightning”, “Charmed”, “Legends of Tomorrow”, ”Dynasty”, ”The Flash”, ”Legacies”, ”Riverdale”, ”Supergirl” and ”Supernatural”. Quite a coup for a couple of those, particularly “Arrow”, chalking up it’s eighth season, while “Supernatural” inherits a fifteenth!

Shows on the bubble include recent reboot “Roswell : New Mexico”, which has dipped in the ratings since its exec-pleasing debut.

Meanwhile, the Arrowverse will again be combining [super] forces for another crossover, in this case the highly-anticipated TV-take on comic book classic “Crisis on Infinite Earths”.

At the TCA press tour, CW president Mark Pedowitz told reporters that this year’s crossover would be “the biggest and most complicated” in the history of the net’s superhero shows.

In the comic version, a couple of legendary heroes actually bite the dust. Will The CW be following suit?

“That is the intent, to take some big swings,” Pedowitz affirmed for TVLine. “Can’t tell you if it’ll follow the comic book version, but it’ll take some big swings.”
