Astro Boy gets live-action movie treatment!

A live-action take on anime classic “Astro Boy” is in the works, says Heat Vision.

“San Andreas” scribes Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore are onboard to pen the script for the pic, which is set up at New Line.

The movie, which Animal Logic (“The Lego Movie”), Ranger 7 Films and Tezuka Prods are producing, has Zareh Nalbandian taking point.
