Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen are set to star in director Matt Spicer’s dark comedy “Ingrid Goes West”.
Spicer and David Branson Smith penned the script about a young woman named Ingrid (Plaza) who becomes obsessed with social media star Taylor Sloane (Olsen) who has a seemingly perfect life. When Ingrid decides to drop everything and move west to befriend Taylor, her behavior turns unsettling and increasingly dangerous.
Plaza is also on board to produce with Jared Ian Goldman, Star Thrower Entertainment’s Tim and Trevor White and Adam and Robert Mirels of 141 Entertainment. Exec producers are Mary Solomon, Rick Rickertsen and Allan Mandelbaum.
