If even to distance themselves from Warner’s “Justice League” ‘Part 1’ and ‘Part 2’, Disney are apparently planning to re title the next two “Avengers” movies. Initially titled, “Avengers : Infinity War Part 1” and “Avengers : Infinity War Part 2”, directors Joe & Anthony Russo tell Uproxx they’re chasing new names. The reason? the films won’t be one long movie, split down the middle, but two self-contained stories… so it makes no sense to add the “Part” onto the end of each.

“Infinity War I, I understand, is very Thanos heavy, setting up not only the character (which previous films have failed to do) but also getting him the Infinity Stones (which previous films have failed to do). Infinity War II is going to be the big action finale, with just about every Marvel Cinematic Universe hero showing up. Having seen how well the Russos handled a bunch of heroes brawling in Civil War I couldn’t be more excited to see them up the ante and bring in a couple dozen more characters.”
Titles aside, sounds fun!
