Bad Boys 4,National Treasure 3 in the works

Not surprisingly – if you’ve seen the sting at the end of “Bad Boys For Life” – another sequel to “Bad Boys” is being put on the fast track.

Chris Bremner, one of the writers on the latest film, has been tapped to write the film.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are, of course, set to reprise their roles in the fourth film. No word on whether directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi will return (or whether they’ll be too busy doing “Beverly Hills Cop 4”).

Originally estimated to snare around 40-45 million, “Bad Boys For Life” is soaring at the box-office, and is expected to make near $70 million over the four-day holiday weekend.

In addition to “Bad Boys 4”, producer Jerry Bruckheimer has also set Bremner to pen a second sequel to Nicolas Cage adventure “National Treasure”.
