Bewitched movie being developed at Sony

Sony is currently developing a movie based on the classic TV series that starred Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York. Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett will write the script, reports Deadline.

Sony’s lasts “Bewitched” film was in 2005, with Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrel starring, directed by Nora Ephron. The latest one in development is said to be different, and used as a start for a TV series, in which a witch marries an advertising exec and then tries to hide her powers and her crazy relatives who drop in often.
