Neil Blomkamp has confirmed that his “Alien” sequel – set to return “Aliens” duo Sigourney Weaver and Michael Beihn – is on hold so that the “Prometheus” sequel can take center stage for a while.
While it sounds like the film is still a go, Blomkamp suggests he’d been instructed to pause on the movie while Ridley Scott readies his “Alien : Paradise Lost” movie. Clearly, Scott wants his “Alien” movie to be the only one out there at the moment.
