Brad Pitt circling another Hollywood-set period piece

Brad Pitt is circling Damien Chazelle’s “Babylon”, the early-Hollywood period drama that mixes real and fictional characters in what’s reportedly a very R-rated yarn about Hollywood’s transition from silents to talkies.

Emma Stone is already set to reunite with “La La Land” director Chazelle on the film.

According to Deadline, who have the casting scoop, several studios are vying to distribute the film including Lionsgate, who distributed Chazelle’s previous film.

Chazelle most recently directed Neil Armstrong biopic “First Man”.
