With most of my efforts today revolving around waiting for a certain Marvel movie trailer to post – and also, ahem, salivating over Dwayne Johnson in that oh-so-terrible-but-Ill-likely-see-it “Baywatch” movie trailer – and most of your attention likely still fixed on the “Spider-Man : Homecoming” trailer (right?) I’ll throw down a seafood basket of bits and bobs that hit over the last day. Hope I haven’t missed anything. If I have, you can send your complaints to Clint c/o Hollywood… or something.
“God Particle”, recently revealed to be the third instalment in the “Cloverfield” series, has been delayed for eight months.
Annie Wersching (remember her from “24”?) will recur on NBC’s new time travel series “Timeless”. She plays a recluse living in the woods who encounters Goran Visnjic’s character.
Aussie actor Bojana Novakovic (“Rake”, “Satisfaction”) looks to get her own sitcom at CBS. She’s come a long way from playing Abe Forsythe’s object of affection in the mini-series “Marking Time”.

Fox held a presentation today, showing off some of their 2017 titles to critics. One film showcased was “Logan”, which attendees were treated to 45 minutes of. According to those that attended, the movie is bloody, brutal and everything fans of the source material hope it will be. Some of Ridley Scott’s “Alien : Covenant” was also screened, with critics singing it’s praises across the online ocial highway.
Michael Keaton sat down with Deadline to talk about “The Founder” (geez have The Weinstein’s frigged up that release!) and instead talked heavily about his Batman years – in particular what interested him about being a part of the original 1989 film.
Sky and Cinemax are bringing back “Strike Back” – but with an all new cast. Aussie export Daniel MacPherson (“Neighbours”) is one of the new recruits.
Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik are joining forces on a new song for the “Fifty Shades Darker” soundtrack.
