HBO Max has renewed the Max Original drama series TOKYO VICE for a second season. From Endeavor Content and WOWOW, Japan’s leading premium pay TV broadcaster, the first season, which debuted in April, is available to stream on HBO Max.

Apple has closed a pact to acquire an untitled Formula One racing movie set to star Brad Pitt and be directed by Joseph Kosinski. Pitt stars as a driver who comes out of retirement to compete alongside a rookie driver against the titans of the sport.
The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films (“Top Gun: Maverick,” “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise), Joseph Kosinski (“Top Gun: Maverick”), Mercedes driver and seven-time Formula One champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, and Plan B Entertainment (“World War Z”). Copper CEO Penni Thow serves as executive producer. Ehren Kruger (“Top Gun: Maverick”) writes the screenplay.
