Appearing on Kevin Smith’s Fatman Beyond podcast, “Gotham Central” writer Ed Brubaker revealed that the focus of the upcoming “The Batman” spin-off show will be Jim Gordon, played by Jeffrey Wright. “I was like, ‘Maybe they’re really going to make Gotham Central this time,’ and so I reached out to a producer who works for Matt Reeves and he says, ‘No, that’s not really Gotham Central’. That’s not correct of course they do— just me being emotional and over stuff. We work we all work in a big machine.” (Both posts have now been removed)
