“Hannibal” creator Bryan Fuller is attached as the showrunner, co-creator and co-producer of CBS’ new “Star Trek” series.
The new series will premiere on CBS in January 2017, before moving to CBS’ All Access digital subscription service.
Fuller will exec produce with Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.
Fuller first started out as a writer on “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and “Star Trek: Voyager”.
