The first trailer for the “Candyman” reboot hits Thursday – and it may or may not reveal that Tony Todd is again playing the title character (that’s the rumor making the rounds anyway…).
Todd is in the film, but considering the film is said to be a direct sequel to Clive Baker’s original classic, many suggest director Nia DaCosta may have kept with continuity and kept the same man behind the beehive gut.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Colman Domingo also feature in the film, produced and co-written by sketch comedy prankster new master of horror Jordan Peele.
