Caffeinated Clint
I was chatting to one of the cast members of “Caprica” the other day (I won’t say who) who warned me that the show is “very, very, different to Battlestar Galactica” and that might not sit well with those who tune in expecting something of a similiar ilk. It’s apparently brilliantly-written, and I’m guessing terrifically-performed, but from what I can gather the prequel series is less action-centric and more focused on the day-to-dramas of the central family – dare I say, stuff you’d find in soaps. If that’s indeed the case, I believe it’ll be a ‘terrific’ soap! “Brothers in Sisters” attacked by Cylons? Bring that shit on, I say!
Anyway, as you’ll know, the pilot episode of “Caprica” is hitting DVD and Blu-Ray in April – about a year before the series itself premieres on the Sci-Fi Channel.
