Colin Firth (“Bridget Jones’s Baby”) will star in John Madden’s WWII story ”Operation Mincemeat”.  Set in 1943 when the Allies are determined to launch an all-out assault on ‘Fortress Europe,’ the film will follow two brilliant intelligence officers, Ewen Montagu (Firth) and Charles Cholmondeley, who dream up an inspired and improbable disinformation strategy to help the cause. “Rocketman” actor Jamie Bell is set to star in World War II thriller “Dynamite Room” for director Olly Blackburn. Set during July 1940, the story opens with 12 year-old evacuee Lydia walking through a village in rural England on a baking hot day. She is wearing a gas mask. The shops and houses are empty, windows boarded up and the village seemingly deserted. Leaving it behind, she arrives at a large house by the marshes – the house she grew up in.
