Anne Hathaway is set to star in “The Ambassador’s Wife”, a limited series based on Jennifer Steil’s novel.

The story follows a British woman who is kidnapped in Yemen, setting off an ordeal for her and her ambassador husband.

Hathaway will also produce the series from Entertainment One and the Mark Gordon Co.

 

Lydia Wilson is set to appear in Justin Lin’s “Star Trek Beyond”.

Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana and Anton Yelchin are set to return with Idris Elba, Joe Taslim and Sofia Boutella also joining the cast.

Pegg and Doug Jung are writing the script. The film will open on July 8, 2016.

 

Freddie Highmore (“Bates Motel”) and Odeya Rush are set to star in coming-of-age dramatic comedy “Holding Patterns”.

Jake Goldberger is directing from his own script about an unmotivated man in his mid 20s still living at home with his mother and stepfather who falls for a young woman who has a serious boyfriend.

Rita Volk, Jake Abel and Taylor John Smith co-star.

 

Sharon Stone will play the villain in drama “Running Wild”, with Alex Ranarivelo directing from Christina Moore and Brian Rudnick’s script.

“Running Wild” centers on a widow who saves her ranch by working with convicts to rehabilitate a herd of wild horses that wandered onto her property.

 

Ving Rhames will join Ed Helms, Owen Wilson, J.K. Simmons and Terry Bradshaw in comedy “Bastards”.

Larry Sher is making his directorial debut on the project, with production set to kick off in Atlanta and Miami in September.

The film centres on two brothers whose eccentric mother raised them to believe their father had died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out to find their real father, learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.
