The Suicide Squad‘s Joel Kinnaman will star in the next film from District 9 and Chappie helmer Neill Blomkamp. They Found Us, housed at AGC Studios and Temple Hill, is an alien abduction thriller about a father and his daughter as they undertake a camping trip in the Utah wilderness to heal their broken relationship. “After being attacked by a hostile extraterrestrial lifeform, their lives — not just their relationship — wind up at stake, as they fight with a humanoid beast to stop their abduction to an unknown and terrifying alien world”, says the official speil. Top Gun Maverick‘s Monica Barbaro is in final talks to join Timothée Chalamet in James Mangold’s Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown at Searchlight Pictures. The film, due to begin production in New York this summer, is a Jay Cocks-scripted tale chronicling on a transformative moment for Dylan, the legendary singer-songwriter who made his mark during the civil rights and counter-culture upheaval of the 1960s. Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games) will play a key recurring role in Taylor Sheridan’s ”Lawmen: Bass Reeves” (fka Bass Reeves), exec produced by and starring David Oyelowo. The Paramount+ anthology series, which is currently filming in Texas, has been renamed Lawmen: Bass Reeves, with future iterations following other iconic lawmen who have impacted history in subsequent seasons, according to the streamer.Sutherland will play Judge Isaac Parker, an imposing and commanding judge in the Fort Smith Courthouse with a complicated legacy.
