Liam Neeson is circling “Tell No One”, a remake of the 2 006 French film about a pediatrician who becomes a suspect in a series of murders that claimed his wife. Gavin O’Connor (“Warriors”) is in talks to direct, with Chris Terrio (“Argo”) scripting. The French film was based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name. Apparently Neeson wants to see a new polish on the script before he officially commits. (Deadline)
Channing Tatum will produce and possibly star in a feature based on “Struck by Genius: How a Brain Injury Made Me a Mathematical Marvel” (to be titled simply “Struck by Genius”) by Jason Padgett. Tatum would produce alongside Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, and Michael Costigan. (Heat Vision)
Former “Doctor Who” star Matt Smith has joined the cast of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”. The film, directed by Burr Steers, will lens September 24. Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, and Douglas Booth also star. (Heat Vision)
Kate Mara (“American Horror Story”) has been offered a role in “The Martian”, the Ridley Scott-directed film starring Matt Damon as an astronaut marooned on Mars. Kristen Wiig and Jessica Chastain are also circling roles in the film. Mara recently completed work on 20th Century Fox’s “Fantastic Four’. (Deadline)
