Casting: The Big Bang Theory, The Bye Bye Man, Milligan

Bob Newhart will return to “The Big Bang Theory” for his fourth appearance as a guest star on this season’s December 17 episode.

According to Variety, “Newhart will reprise his role as Arthur Jeffries, Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) childhood hero. Though the episode has not filmed yet, Arthur returns as a ghostly Jedi in Sheldon’s dreams to help him sort out his feelings and make a very important decision.

“The Big Bang Theory’s” ninth season is currently airing on Thursdays at 8PM.

 

 

Michael Trucco has joined Doug Jones, Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas and Lucien Laviscount in horror-thriller “The Bye Bye Man”.

Production is underway in Cleveland with Stacy Title directing from Jonathan Penner’s script, based on Robert Damon Schneck’s short story “The Bridge to Body Island”.

The film centres on three Wisconsin college students (Smith, Bonas, Laviscount) who experience a series of terrifying events.

Trucco plays one the students’ brother, whose mind has been invaded by the unstoppable Bye Bye Man (played by Jones).

 

 

Dustin Milligan has joined Gerard Butler, Willem Dafoe, Gretchen Mol, Alison Brie and Alfred Molina in the cast of “The Headhunter’s Calling”.

Mark Williams is directing from Bill Dubuque’s script about “ruthless headhunter Dane Jensen (Butler), who works at Blackridge Recruiting arranging jobs for engineers. He is well on his way to achieving his longtime work goal of taking over the company, when his ten-year-old son falls ill and his personal and professional priorities clash. Milligan will play an aggressive young recruiter at Blackridge who’s training under Butler’s character” (via Variety).
