Cate Blanchett is attached to star in an authorized biopic about Hollywood legend Lucille Ball, reports The Wrap.
Ball became one of TV’s first sweethearts on the sitcom “I Love Lucy”. She starred in the show with her husband Desi Arnaz, with whom she had two children. Ball divorced Arnaz in 1960 before marrying Gary Morton the following year.
Aaron Sorkin is writing the script for Escape Artists.
Ball’s children, Lucy Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr, will produce the film with Escape Artists’ Jenna Block.
