Charlie’s Angels helmer rebooting Turner & Hooch

The man who never flies, McG (“Charlie’s Angels”, “We Are Marshal”) will helm a series reboot of Touchstone classic “Turner & Hooch” for Disney+.

The Matt Nix/Fox-TV created offering has snagged a 12-episode order.

McG, who famously dropped out of “Superman Returns” when Warners decided to shoot in Australia, meaning he’d have to fly (we all have our fears; I know I have mine!),  will also executive produce the cop-dog show, says Deadline.

Scott Turner, played by Josh Peck, is a U.S. marshal (he was a cop in the Tom Hanks movie) that is partnered with the perfect partner, a big unruly dog.

Carra Patterson, Brandon Jay McLaren, Anthony Ruivivar, Lyndsy Fonseca, Jeremy Maguire and Vanessa Lengies also star. Five French Mastiffs also star as Hooch, Scott’s slobbery, loveable French Mastiff, Arnie, Hammer, Obi, Cyd and Mya.
