The expanded/color edition of “Jaws 2 : The Making of the Hollywood Sequel”, written by Moviehole contributing writer Michael Smith, with Louis Pisano, has been nominated in the category of BOOK OF THE YEAR for the 17th Annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards.
The book takes a look at the very troubled production of the first blockbuster movie sequel as well as commenting on the current “sequelization” of Hollywood.
Originally released in 2015, the expanded/color edition adds twelve new interviews, including a never published conversation with Roy Scheider and almost 200 new images, published in color for the first time. This edition is limited to 1000 copies, is signed and numbered, and comes with an original 1978 TOPPS Jaws 2 trading card.
