John Krasinski’s IF, the new family/comedy that the “Office” star will write and direct, has added Matt Damon, Jon Stewart, Emily Blunt, Maya Rudolph, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, Awkwafina and Vince Vaughn to its voice cast, the actor and filmmaker announced at CinemaCon Vegas today. Krasinski, Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Cailey Fleming, Louis Gossett Jr, Fiona Shaw, Alan S. Smurfs
Singer Rihanna will voice Smurfette in a new untitled Smurfs animated film for Paramount and Nickelodeon. In addition to also writing and performing original music for the film, the Bullet Train actress will also produce the Feb 14, 2025 release. “I get to show up in my PJs in my third trimester,” the mother-to-be told attendees at CinemaCon. “I hope this gives me cool points with my kids one day.” Chris Miller is directing. Chris Rock will have a voice cameo in the upcoming movie, it was revealed during the Paramount presentation at CinemaCon. A new trailer for the September 29 release was also revealed.
