Cobra Kai Season 4: the return of Terry Silver

Ponytail in tact

A new teaser for season 4 of Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” has revealed the return of baddie Terry Silver, played by Thomas Ian Griffith. Silver appeared in “Karate Kid Part III”

The ponytailed villain appeared in the teaser with his voiceover: “If a man can’t stand, he can’t fight. If a man can’t breathe, he can’t fight. If a man can’t see, he can’t fight.”

Griffin spoke to EW: “I never imagined I’d be stepping back into this role, but what an incredible opportunity to bring Terry Silver full circle. When they say Cobra Kai never dies, they mean it!”

Silver’s return was teased at the conclusion of “Cobra Kai” season 3, with flashbacks revealing John Kreese (Martin Kove) saved Silver’s life while they were both prisoners of war in Vietnam, and then Kreese seen calling an old friend. Executive producer Jon Hurwitz teased earlier this year, “You could guess who might’ve been on the other end of that call based off of the photo that he was looking at there. But we can’t really speak to how Terry Silver would respond to that call — or whoever was on the other end of the line would respond to that call. I think you’ll have to see if that character returns in season 4.”

With Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) putting their differences aside at the end of the last season, it will be interesting to see how the return of Terry Silver will impact things! Stay tuned…
