Despite recent rumours suggesting he might be involved (his name was also listed on the movie’s IMDB page – until this week), Cody Walker won’t be involved in the eighth “Fast & Furious” movie.
Walker, 27, helped finish his late brother Paul’s scenes (as Brian O’Conner) in last year’s “Fast & Furious 7” and in recent weeks it had been suggested that he might be back – either as O’Conner or another character – in F.Gary Gray’s upcoming sequel.
Universal Studios has nixed reports that the actor is involved, telling Polygon there’s “no truth” behind the rumor.
Walker’s O’Conner character will be reportedly referenced in future “Fast & Furious” films but there are no plans to recast another actor in the role so that the character can return.
Cody Walker is pursuing an acting career, so it’s likely we will see him again on the big – or small – screen at one stage or another.
