Coronavirus hits Hollywood : Robert Pattinson and Dwayne Johnson affected

Production of “The Batman” has been halted due to its star, Robert Pattinson, being diagnosed with Covid-19.

Warner Bros. said in a statement:
“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

Vanity Fair reports that a source close to the production revealed it was Pattinson that’s affected. “The Batman” shut down production back in March when lockdown was first introduced, and now faces a another quarantine just days after production had resumed.

Even though we’ve seen a trailer for the upcoming Matt Reeves’ pic, the film is only about a quarter-way through shooting. “The Batman” opens in cinemas on October 1st 2021.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has also revealed on his Instagram that he and his family have tested positive for Coronavirus, and while Johnson has recovered, he detailed how brutal the virus can be:

“It was a little bit different for Lauren and I, we had a rough go, but we got through it. We got through it as a family… we are stronger, we are better and we did it together. We are counting our blessings right now, as we are well aware it isn’t always the case that you get on the other end of Covid-19 stronger and healthier. We are counting our blessings right now, as we are well aware it isn’t always the case that you get on the other end of Covid-19 stronger and healthier. I have had some of my best friends who have lost their parents, their loved ones, to this virus that is so incredibly relentless and unforgiving. We are counting our blessings, but we are good.”

Trailer : The Glorias features a superb line-up of actresses!

Sure, its not a sequel but at least Total Recall is coming in 4K!
