Schitt Canadian Horror Story

“Schitt’s Creek” standout Emily Hampshire will star in the new horror flick “Home”, which she’ll also executive produce. Beginning production next week in Montreal, the Adam O’Brien directed flick is set after the death of a couple’s newborn son, which leads to the couple separating. Alone in her house, she is convinced that her son is still alive, unaware that the death of her baby has caused the birth of something terribly sinister. [More…]

Another original back for Murphy sequel

As expected, John Amos will reprise his role as Leo McDowell, owner of the fast-food restaurant in the 1988 classic,  in Paramount’s “Coming 2 America” starring Eddie Murphy. The film, shooting under the direction of Craig Brewer, also sees the return of Arsenio Hall, Paul Bates and James Earl Jones.  [More…]

Veronica Mars star nabs movie dollars

Jason Dohring (“Veronica Mars”) has joined the cast of Justine Bateman’s indie drama feature “Violet”. Also starring Olivia Munn and Justin Theroux, it centers on a rising film executive (Munn) who lives according to the Voice (Theroux) in her head, until unexpectedly realizing the truth – it’s been lying about everything.
