Kit Harrington joins the MCU

“Game of Thrones” star Kit Harrington will star in an upcoming Marvel Studios movie, one of the big superhero franchises, Deadline revealed today. It’s unknown which film Harrington will be a part of, only that it’ll likely be his next movie.

S.H.I.E.L.D star boards Star Wars series

“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” star Ming-Na Wen has joined the cast of Disney+ series “The Mandalorian”. Of being part of both the Marvel and “Star Wars” franchises, the actress said “Please just keep acquiring all these different franchises,” she said to Bob Iger, “because I just keep getting employed by them. Michael Shannon is playing L.A Lakers own Dr. Jerry Buss in a new series about the NBA team’s 1980s dynasty. Shannon joins Jason Clarke in the cast for the Adam McKay-directed pilot, which was previously known as Showtime after the team’s ’80s moniker, but is now untitled. [More…]
