Danny Trejo in next American Pie

Action star Danny Trejo’s dance card features a surprising new addition with word that he’s a part of the next “American Pie” movie.

The “Machete” star is a part of Universal’s next direct-to-digital spin-off to the original 1999 classic.  Director Mike Elliott’s “American Pie Presents : Girls’ Rules” will also feature several other familiar faces, including “Rocky Horror” and “Spin City” alum Barry Bostwick, Clint Howard (“Apollo 13”), Sara Rue (“Less than Perfect”), and Madison Pettis, who is best known for playing Dwayne Johnson’s daughter in Disney’s “The Game Plan”.

Written by Blayne Weaver and David H.Steinberg, the film will return to the scene of East Great Falls High, the school at the center of the original 1999 comedy hit, and even more… it features Stifler!

Alas..Stephanie Stifler.

Like Steve, 18-year-old Stephanie (Lizze Broadway) has a bit of a wild and crazy rep, but when she catches the eye of the new ‘good’ guy at school, she tries to change her ways.

Trejo, , plays ‘Mr Garcia the Janitor’.

The film should hit platforms sometime this year.
