On top of the new poster for the “Dora the Explorer” film, titled “Dora and the Lost City of Gold”, actor Danny Trejo has confirmed his involvement on Twitter as voicing Boots the Monkey!

Benicio Del Toro is voicing Swiper, and alongside lead Isabela Moner as Dora, “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” also stars Eva Longoria, Temuera Morrison, Jeffrey Wahlberg, Michael Pena, Pia Miller, Q’orianka Kilcher, Eugenio Derbez, Adriana Barraza, and Madeleine Madden.
“Dora and the Lost City of Gold” opens in cinemas on August 2nd, and is directed by James Bobin. The first trailer will drop during the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards this Saturday, so keep an eye out!
