“Guardians of the Galaxy” alum Dave Bautista has joined the cast of Zack Snyder’s new film, a zombie flick called “Army of the Dead” for Netflix.
The film, co-written by Snyder (“Batman vs. Superman”) and Shay Hatten, follows a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas and a man assembling a group of mercenaries to pull off the greatest heist.
According to The Wrap, who had the scoop on Bautista’s anointment, “Army of the Dead” will film later this year. Bautista, who is committed to starring in Disney’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” threequel next year, next appears in “Avengers : Endgame”, “Escape Plan: The Extractors,” “My Spy” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune”.
