Disney+ available in November

Disney streaming service Disney+ will launch in Australia and New Zealand in November, The Walt Disney Company confirmed today.

Available just a week after the U.S, on November 19, Disney+ will sit below the cost of current streamers Netflix and Stan. For just $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year, you’ll be able to choose from the likes of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. Original product coming from Disney+ includes a live-action “Lady and the Tramp”, new “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian”, a reboot of “Home Alone” and several new Marvel TV series.

Disney’s theatrical releases, like “Frozen 2”, are set to be withheld from other services. Stan’s current deal with Disney will end just before Disney+ launches.
